Kristýna Hájková is a curator of contemporary art specializing in site specific installations and the institutional context of contemporary art. She focuses on the history of art in public space within the cultural and political framework of the 20th and 21st centuries.

She has curated exhibition projects for the International festival 4+4 Days in Motion, Prague City Gallery, House of Arts Ústí nad Labem, Emil Filla Gallery, and—given the nature of her focus—primarily in non-gallery spaces. She is a member of the International Council of Museums and contributed to the preparation of the scientific program for the ICOM General Conference held in Prague in 2022.

With a degree in Arts Management from the University of Economics in Prague and in Curatorial Studies from the Faculty of Art and Design at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, Kristýna Hájková is currently completing her doctoral studies in Visual Communication. Her extensive academic background instills confidence in her research, which explores the boundaries of the term site specific and its realizations in public space.
